UCFS received approval from the Griswold Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Conservation  Commission  to proceed with its plans for the future facility at 226 E. Main St. (read Norwich Bulletin Article). It has also received approval by the Griswold Planning and Zoning Commission.





Windham Solar, LLC                                                                                            
Windham Solar, LLC has be granted approval by the Connecticut Siting Council to construct, operate, and maintain three 2.o Megawatt and one 1.0 Megawatt Solar Photovoltaic Electric Generating Facilities located at 1219 Voluntown Road which is the parcel at the corner of Route 201 and Route 138 and 1240 Voluntown Road, the former Chinigo property which is the 38 acre parcel that abuts Latham Drive.

The Planning and Zoning Commission and the Inland Wetlands Commission have reviewed the proposal and submitted their recommendations to the Connecticut Siting Council.  Construction will begin in the spring.
