DUTIES

The Veterans Service Contact Person is responsible to assist Veterans with the following services.
Reemployment, Rehabilitation, Education, Coordinate vocational Training Services, Coordinate with Local, State and National Government and Private Agencies to secure benefits, Adjustment to Peace Time Living

The LaFlamme-Kusek American Legion Post sponsored American Legion Veterans Housing Inc Project (TALVI) has restored its exsiting building in Jewett City into 18 permanent supportive housing units to create a pilot project for a regional facility for homeless veterans in Eastern Connecticut.
