ANNUAL TOWN BUDGET REFERENDUM - TUESDAY, JUNE 7TH 6 AM - 8 PM

The annual Town Budget Referendum will be held Tuesday, June 7th at Griswold Town Hall, 28 Main Street, between the hours of 6 AM and 8 PM.

The mil rate as proposed is 25.07 which represents a decrease of 3.87 mils. Due to the revaluation of properties, some taxpayers will see a decrease in taxes and some taxpayers will see an increase in taxes. Property revaluations did not affect all properties equally. It is advised that you calculate your taxes to see how you will be impacted by the revaluation and new mil rate.

To calculate your taxes divide your assessment by 1000 and multiply by 25.07. For example, if your assessment is $150,000 your taxes would be $3,760.50. ($150,000/1000*25.07)
