The Griswold Senior Center provides for the needs of the elderly for programs and services. It serves as a one-stop focal point to aid the elderly in obtaining necessary services.
A sampling of the services provided are recreation and congregate meals, transportation. There are two vehicles that are available to take the elderly shopping, to medical appointments and to run errands. Elderly social services are also provided at the center.
Congregate Meals are served daily at the Senior Center through TVCCA's Elderly Nutrition Program. You need only to be 65 years or older to enjoy a hot noontime meal.
If you are 65 years or older and are homebound or you have a loved one who is 65 years or older and is homebound, TVCCA's Elderly Nutrition/Meals on Wheels Program can provide to them a hot noon-time meal for a nominal suggested donation to their program.
