Health Department Services:
- Review of all site plans and grants approvals for wells, septic systems, dimensions and capacity
- Responsible for all aspects of environmental health to ensure compliance with sanitation laws and regulations to include subsurface sewage disposal, public health nuisances and complaints
- Inspects and issues licensure for all food and beverage dispensing establishments
- Works with State Agencies such as the State of Connecticut Health Department and Department of Environmental Protection on issues including water, land, air pollution, lead abatement and asbestos
