Day Kimball HomeCare program has a 30 year history of services to the residents of Northeastern Connect that is build on skill, compassion and experience to provide services to patients recovering at home after hospitalization, after an accident or injury, or to assist in managing chronic illnesses.
Our experienced nursing staff is available 24 hours a day to assist patients and family members. |

| Fees and Insurance |
Most home care services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. For patients with certain conditions or needs, special funds may be available for items and services not covered by insurance. Additional private pay services are also available.

Specialized service for patients who need end-of-life care is offered through Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeaastern Connecticut. Hospice provides palliative (comfort) care focused on main relief and symptom control. the goalis to meet the patien's and family's needs -- medical, psychological, spiritual and social -- so the patient can live each remain day to the fullest, at home or in a homelike setting. Bereavement services for loved ones are available for up to 14 months. |
