TOWN OF GRISWOLD ANNUAL BUDGET MEETING
Notice and warning is hereby given to the Legal Voters of the Town of Griswold and those Property Owners qualified to vote in Town Meetings pursuant to Section 7-1 of the Connecticut General Statutes that the Annual Budget Meeting will be held on Monday May 5, 2008 at 7:00p.m. at the Griswold Town Hall, 28 Main Street, Griswold, CT to consider and take action on the following items as indicated below:
District #1: Griswold Town Hall, 28 Main Street, Griswold, CT.
District #2: Pachaug Town Hall, 883 Voluntown Road, Griswold, CT.
Resolved: That the date and hours of the vote by Optical Scan Voting Machines on the appropriation proposed by the Annual Budget Meeting for fiscal year 2008-2009 shall be Wednesday May 14, 2008, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

ALSO, HOMEOWNERS OR SOCIAL SECURITY DISABLED APPLICATIONS FOR TAX CREDIT ARE TAKEN IN THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE BETWEEN FEBRUARY 15TH AND MAY 15TH. ELDERLY RENTERS AND TOTALLY DISABLED PERSONS MAY APPLY FOR RENTERS REBATE TAX RELIEF MAY 15TH THROUGH SEPTEMBER 15TH IN THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE. |

NOTICE OF DOG LICENSE FEE CHANGE Effective October 1, 2003 dog license fees for unspayed and unneutered dogs will increase by three dollars ($3.00) to $19.00 pursuant to Public Act #03-103. PASSPORTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2008 Due to recent changes in the regulations concerning the acceptance of passport applications, the Griswold Town Clerk's Office will no longer be an acceptance agent. |
