2008 CALENDAR OF BOARD AND COMMISSION MEETINGS.
   
July Start of Fiscal Year
First payment of property taxes due during month.
   
August 2nd - Interest begins on unpaid taxes.
September 15th - Last day to apply for Renters Rebate Tax Relief  for Elderly and Totally Disabled Persons, Assessors Office.

Military discharges to be recorded in the Town Clerk's Office by new residents for tax exemptions.
October

1st - Assessment date.

All personal property, unregistered motor vehicles, etc. to be listed with Assessor.

Absentee ballots available 30 days prior to November election.

3rd Saturday- Hunting season opens.

November 1st Tuesday after the first Monday Election Day.
December Hunting and Fishing licenses (effective January 1) available in Town Clerks Office.
January Second payment of real estate taxes and supplemental list of motor vehicles due during month.
February 15th - Elderly and Totally Disabled Homeowners may apply for tax credits February 15 to May 15, Assessors Office.

Board of Tax Review meets, as published, to hear appeals.
March  
April 3rd Saturday- Fishing season opens.

1st Monday- Town Annual Budget Meeting.

Dog License renewals, Town Clerks Office.

Rabies Certificate a must!!!
