Highway Griswold is accesible by vehicles from all directions. Exits 85 and 86 off *-396 provide access to Route 138, Route 164, and Route 201. I-395 links with I-95 in East Lyme and with the Massachusetts Turnpike. Rail Freight service is avialable from the Providence & Worcester Railroad that runs along the western edge of Griswold. This rail corridor passes through the western portion of the project area. Air Air transportation is available at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut is approximately 50 miles from Griswold and T. F. Green International Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island is approximately 40 miles from Griswold.
